"Are you sure that's such a good idea?" Hawkgirl asked before they left. "There's got to be a lot of bad guys up there and we don't know where they are. They could all be between you and the factory for all we know."
"We've also got a prisoner here to deal with," Bart Regan said. "I count two prisoners, actually," he said, waving his gun in the villain behind the villain's direction.
The villain behind the villain began doing something with his hands ((but lost initiative; the heroes can act before him!))...

((Dang! Those might be the best rolls of the whole campaign so far - Hour-Man got a 20 to grapple, countered by only a 10 to resist.))
Hour-Man was too powerful for the overconfident mastermind. Whatever he was trying to do never got done as Hour-Man slammed him to the floor and pinned him.
"Ugh! Sullied by an earthling! The indignity!" the mastermind said.
"You want to talk indignity?" Bart Regan said as he came up with a length of chain. "Wait 'til you see how we drag you around after chaining you up!"

Hour-man keeps him pinned and says, " i would suggest you answer this man as we have had a long day and we really don't have too much patience". If the man is wearing a hood or a mask he will remove it to see what this person looks like
(huzzah for the rolls for the heroes)

The mastermind was never wearing a hood and did not appear to be wearing a mask (Hour-Man felt his face to be sure).
The boss cultist was masked. Hawkgirl pulled his mask off. Sure enough, as Hour-Man had long suspected, it was factory manager Gary Peirce!
"Gary Peirce!" all the heroes said at once.
"And I would have gotten away with it too, if not for you meddling heroes."
"Oh shut up," the still-unnamed mastermind who claimed not to be human said.
"Here's a thought," Doris West said, taking the cultist robes off of Gary and handing them to Hour-Man. "You go and warn the factory, dressed in this. If you run into any of their creatures up there, they won't bother you if they think you're him."

Hour-man nods and says " I will be back." He dons the robe and with his enhanced speed raced to warn the factory.

It was hard running and holding the hood over his head (actually his second hood, since his regular costume's hood was still up underneath it), but he didn't get far.
He was about 1/4 of the way to the factory, running through the dark with just his flashlight, when he found himself surrounded by a mob of bad guys, just hanging out in the dark! There was about a dozen robed and hooded cultists, about two dozen ratmen, and several more Mephisians mixed in among them! They seemed as surprised by the disguised Hour-Man showing up in their midst as he was to run into them, so neither side had time to react yet...

Hour-man says in a commanding voice, " evacuate, evacuate, the place is going to cave in. Those Heroes lined the walls with explosives. Quickly we need to leave. I will warn the rest. " Hourman stops and yells at the half of the men with the robes. " I see you in those disguises. Men there are the intruders those so call heroes. Attack them and see if we can tell us how to stop the bombs. " Without waiting for a response or without seeing what happens next he runs to the surface.

((I guess I didn't make it clear enough that Hour-Man was already on the surface.))
The disguised Hour-Man got a lot of confused reactions, but that's really all he needed anyone - just to throw them into chaos while he went for help. And it worked! Hour-Man sped away, leaving men hollering at each other in his wake.
All the hangars were well-lit and armed patrols were walking around. There were even more armed men by the factory. Hour-Man counted 20 men in total. They would likely not be enough if Pierce's monstrous forces marched on this place...but they could definitely help.
Unfortunately, Hour-Man was still wearing cultist robes and looked decidedly suspicious. The nearest patrol leveled their guns at him and barked orders: "Hands up, mister!"

Hourman lowers his hood and says, " name is Hour-man I have been working with the justice society in investigating the strange attacks and kidnappings. There is an invasion force of cultists, possible nazi sympthasizers and strange things coming to attack and occupy this base. We need to alert the military and hold them off as quickly as we can. "

The patrolmen lowered their weapons. "We were told about the Justice Society."
Calls were made to the county sheriff's office, the Army, and the National Guard. The call to the Army took a lot of time and a lot of long distance connections, since there were no non-Coast Guard military bases in West Virginia. It took 15 minutes to make the calls and then another 25 minutes past that when the Sheriff and his deputies came. Hour-Man now had 25 men on his side, not counting the Justice Society he was cut off from.
Somewhere out there, in the dark, was a small army of horrible monsters and horrible men, waiting to attack. The Sheriff, the head of security at the Air Works, and Hour-Man agreed it was going to be necessary to stage a full-scale evacuation of the factory and hangars, even of essential staff. And that proved time-consuming too. It was less than an hour to midnight when the last car was off the property. Less than an hour until the monsters came.
Hour-Man had still not heard from the rest of the Justice Society. Were they waiting for a signal from him? Were they in trouble? Were they already fighting the bad guys without him?

((I'll add more while we're waiting for Hour-Man to respond...))
Time continued to pass -- which was not good for Hour-Man, as he was long past the end of his hour of power for the day now. The rest of the Justice Society was worn down too; they were going to be depending on these fresh fighters to get them through this, but first the sheriff's men and the security detail needed training.
Hour-Man told them what to expect, though explaining the Mephisians as super-hypnotists rather than inhuman monsters. "Don't trust everything you see, and don't get distracted by anything big and scary that isn't directly threatening you," Hour-Man warned them.
Midnight came. Shots in the distance meant the attack had begun and met the first patrol.
Hour-Man went running at the head of the pack, rallying them on as spotlights from behind them shone on 10' tall, gruesome giants! Despite Hour-Man's warning about illusions, half the men broke and fled right at the start, while the other half ignored his advice and fired on the giants, ignoring the real, smaller monsters charging them.
But just then -- The Sandman, Doris Evans, Bart Regan, Hawkgirl, and Zatara came running up behind the monsters!
((Hour-Man is out of powers, but still has a good number of hp, and can have grabbed a weapon. How about giving me rough intentions for the first three turns instead of us playing this out turn-by-turn.))

Against the rat men Hourman would use a gun otherwise against the humans he would use his fists or club. He will also try to help motivate the police and army to stay the course and confident justice will prevail. If he is in melee and Hourman sees any of the cultists or ratmen using weird weapons or tech then he would then try to wreck it

Hour-Man had borrowed a semi-automatic rifle from the security teams and was now firing it willy-nilly at advancing ratmen.
Zatara focused on the cultists, dropping them with a sleep spell he was saving. The Sandman barreled into the midst of the Mephisians to keep them distracted. Doris and Bart were able to separate some of the cultists from the others and forced their surrenders at gunpoint. Seeing their success, the Sheriff was able to rally his deputies and get back into the fight. Faced with stronger opposition than they were expecting and being separated from each other, the bad guys' morale was faltering. If the Army would just show, it would be over in now time...
Hour-Man wasn't used to using guns and wasn't a great shot with them, but it did slow their advance for a few minutes. But 3 minutes later, the front line of ratmen were on top of him, pulling his rifle down with their nets and trying to outflank him. If only he still had his powers! ((Does HM have any extra tactics to throw out?))

Hourman will try to move and weave to avoid the nets. He asks if the security team had tear gas. He asks sandman if his sleep gun still had any gas pellets. If there are barrel of explosives or fuel lines that can be used to spray at the ratman so they can be lit on fire.
