Canto Two is up, and poor Marc Legrand just can't get a break. I wonder if Per Negaton rolled up an extra PC just in case? Yeah, I already know how it played out, he obviously survived or I wouldn't have put the Character sheet up...
Canto Three will be up when I can-I have a weird work schedule this week.

Canto Three is up-and Per Negaton took the Editor's reins in hand and let me play the Ifrit in the Dark Realm! He's devoured every edition of H&H from the first 2008 release through the 1st Edition trilogy to the 2nd Edition and all of the Trophy Case! I can't wait until he starts the Supplements I to V...he's never done an Editorial or GM role, but all he needs is confidence. One day soon I think he's going to ask for the Red Pen!
Canto Four will be up soon-work is weirder than usual so there may or may not be a delay...

Per Negaton has devoured every edition? At first I thought you meant Ifrit in the Dark Realm had devoured every edition, and you were going for a "breaking the fourth wall" thing. Though I suppose I can just read canto 3 and find out!

Though I suppose I can just read canto 3 and find out! Wow, the perils of a generic Pronoun with an uncertain indicator... Per is 'he', the Ifrit is a gender-less 'they'. Sorry about that...
On the other hand?
( In our next episode of What If? 1886 -the Ifrit Rais Al-Kamael finds the Editor's Notes and discovers that they are a mere SCM! What will they do? WILL THEY GO MAD? WILL THEY FIND A WAY OUT OF THE EDITOR'S NIGHTMARE CREATION AND THROTTLE THE SADIST WITH THEIR OWN HANDS? WILL LIGHTHOUSE BAY BE RE-WRITTEN BY OUR NEW EDITOR AS A TEEN SEX COMEDY? Stay Tuned next wee-AAAaarggggleeegurrglllleeeelllrrrgurk! )

Canto Four is up-and I have to admit that Legrand, Imp and Auroch is one of the stranger concepts that i've seen-plus, the name would make either the most radical Law Firm of all time or an awesome Punk band...

This is really, really weird-Per Negaton and Black Alice don't really get a chance to see each other, and seldom correspond...and yet I have two Half-Pint/Alter Ego/Half Man PCs in as many weeks! Must be that Cosmic Alignment stuff I heard about... I'll try to post the Game Write-up when I can-but my hours are all over the place lately, so might be a little tardy.

Are they making new Heroes for every scenario, instead of advancing the same ones?

Are they making new Heroes for every scenario, instead of advancing the same ones? Nope! we're doing Origin Issues until everybody has two Heroes, advancing the World-building as a welcome side-effect...then we go into JSA Roll-call mode where an available Editor grabs one or more available Players, they pick a Hero for the adventure (with the secondary being a plot twist away in case the primary is KO'd-or even just because) and Go go go goooo! If any of the PCs perma-death or retire, we either incorporate the new Hero's Origin into existing play or Spotlight a new Origin Issue as the drama and circumstances dictate...
Because of our odd schedules, it's probably going to play a bit like an RPG version of 'DC Spotlight On..', 'World's Finest' or 'Marvel-Two-in-one':
The Lantern Presents- The Dust Witch and Mister Trick in "What in the Everlasting Smurf Did We Do to Deserve This?"
Edward Proul and Marc Legrand in "See I Told You The Ghost Ship Would Be Fun!"
The Very Pretty Mister Butterfly flies Solo in "Are The Gingerbread Men Supposed to Do That?"
The Red Wind faces an alien foe in "Wait, You Can Transplant Those?"
Hopefully not that weird of course-but you never know...

I feel like I should apologize to any readers keeping abreast of our 'catch as catch can' game sessions...I changed jobs recently to Traffic Control/Flagging for a private firm and have been working from the wee hours of the morn to the wee hours of the eve-good thing too since I need all the extra funds I can get for crawling out of debt and into a possible 'some day' retirement. Even so, there's no excuse for not posting a write-up for the October games. I'll try to get the details up this weekend unless we have a Power or Gas emergency(in which case we are hired to keep all involved safe and I never sleep again... ). Again, sorry.
Between Black Alice and Dayspring at last having the same schedule, Per Negaton having an elliptical yet stable schedule, it is remotely possible that the three of them can have a game session or two without me which was why we wanted multiple Editors in the first place of course. I'm still hoping to participate myself-but now my schedule is the most random of the four of us. I've been told that in the event that I can't attend copious Notes will be taken and that way I can at least Post an abbreviated version of things.
We have worked too hard to let our campaign die while still in the Origin Stories. We need no salaried employees, no printers and no distribution chain-all we need is Time, that most precious of commodities-and we will find those moments as we can. Distribution will be sporadic-but it will continue. Crossroads Illustrated will never die!
Although if Disney would like to make us an offer, we will consider a buyout...

I'd just assumed you were all too busy to play, not that you'd had sessions but no time for write-ups.
Share only when you can!

I'd just assumed you were all too busy to play, not that you'd had sessions but no time for write-ups. Share only when you can! Your assumption is sadly correct-I am in fact only one write-up behind our game, alas. Our last game was October 9th of this year. We have been amazingly fortunate in August and September, with two games per micro-group each (myself, Black Alice and Dayspring/myself and Per Negaton). One of those was an unexpected cancellation at work on one of Per Negaton's rotating days off-so did we get our bills paid, our laundry done, our projects caught up? HAHAHAHahahaha oh Dear Grodd no-we brewed coffee, ordered sushi and played Elfgames...
And you know what? As much as I would like some good Old-fashioned weekend gaming like I had in High School-I don't think that we would appreciate it nearly as much. Most certainly we would not fall upon our pencils, paper and dice like starving beasts turned loose at a Five-star restaurant! And I honestly don't think that our PCs would have become so... distinctive...in a more casual game. I know that I cherish every moment spent with these crazies, and few things make me happier than rolling dice and laughing at the results...
