Scene one: The curtains are closed and the sun is going down, 615 pm in april, but with some still daylight the web manages to find the faculty files. The files are locked and he tries to pick them ( making a skill roll), he tries a couple of times using a variety of pics but it seems file cabinet size is not a pic in his arsenal. ( I rolled terribly)
The web does know being a teacher, that the secretary desk might be a master key and/or the principal office there should be a key to the cabinet as well or he can burn a stunt?

((Sunset in April is around 8 pm. I don't mind pulling the curtains/opening the blinds a bit to let a little more light into the room. The Web will search the surrounding office for a key, but is not opposed to just wrecking the drawers open. In 2nd edition, non-superheroes can use the same wrecking mechanic, but only get 2 dice instead of 3.))

Scene one: After letting a little more light he searches the secretary's/admin desk and finds the desk locked. He uses his picks again and this time is successful (making the skill check) and inside the bottom left door is a several keys on a ring. He tries a few and eventually finds the key to the file cabinet. He sifts through the records and gets all three of the science teachers addresses and home numbers. He also gets the teacher's assistant Meghan Murphy as well. It looks like Meghan is staying at her parents home in LA. The other three science teachers live in the city as well. All three teachers background information looks pretty "up and up". The search does take a while and as he is putting the files away he notices a file that is labeled "recently terminated."
The web knows that this file is due to be destroyed. In this file are three names, Margaret Welsh, Steven Smiley, and Bruno Schneider. He takes some time and examines these. Margaret Welsh was a english teacher who had a spot free record and her reason for leaving is she quick to move to New York. Steven Smiley was a math teacher, who retired after 25 years of service. His record shows some disciplinary action for being a little pushy for more benefits when he was a steward for the teachers union, however he retired on his own time. The last is Bruno Schneider, a chemist and physics teacher who was a full time teacher and very popular with the kids. He was let go a year ago, under disciplinary reasons, but his record does not show a reason why other then management decision. Also there is no record of the union trying to fight to save Bruno's job. Searching the time now would be about 7 o clock
(Rolling save vs plot for the Web) there are two questions the web would also know?
As a teacher, the Web knows that any union disputes the principal office would have a copy of it in his file cabinet? also in the current file cabinet, there are files for substitute teachers to call?
Scene two: Meanwhile at the department store, Allison waits to see if she needs to show the heroes the fur coats? Are they splitting up?

The Web is torn; he wants more information, but he knows his car has been sitting outside for a very long time now and doesn't want to attract suspicion...
He is going to skip the principal's office and just keep checking here to see if any substitute teachers match the profile he's looking for. But he's already half-convinced Bruno is their man from what he's already read.
Once he's done, he writes down all contact info about the science teachers and the let-go teachers and any plausibly likely substitute teachers (I'm sure he can find a pad of paper and a pen around here), then he puts away all the folders, re-locks all the drawers, puts back the keys, and leaves with his notes the way he came, back to the car for a clean getaway!

The Agent thanks Allison for her time. They're going to browse a bit longer, but will be back.
If A-head will follow they'll quickly check out the Jewellery and the Toy sections. The first to see if there's someplace near there for A-head to stake out from, and the second just to see if there are any toys pre-planted in the area.
After that information, and assuming we don't run into anything, we'll finalize the plan.

What he said. (sorry, been busy last few days), Charlie will also keep an eye out for a Janitor's Closet with the idea of maybe getting a set of coveralls and a mop to blend in after hours.

Scene one: The web goes through the substitute teachers list and there are ten of them. The substitute list though only has phone numbers, address and a brief description of what subjects they are best used for. He finds two of them that can teach science. One of them Judy Panket is a Biology teacher and the other Alan Schwartz is a chemist. One interesting note though is that Alan is a former veteran of WWI and fought for the Germans. His file also shows a copy of the legal immigration to the US in 1923. Getting a pad of paper and pen from the secretaries desk the Web writes down all information needed and then quietly closes all files and locks the office on his way out. (Rolling save vs plot to see if he escapes smoothly. Fortunately for the Web he easily leaves the school and gets back to his car undetected. The time for the web is 730 pm.
Scene two: Arrowhead and Agent echo leave Allison who tells them to find her if they are still interested in furs. Both heroes board the elevator to the second floor. Before entering, both heroes see a door that says "employees only" and see a man dressed in coveralls exiting carrying a broom and a dustpan. Entering to the second floor, the employee on the elevator says, "jewelry, housewares and shoes." Exiting both heroes see the jewelry section is close to the elevators. The jewelry section has on display very valuable rings, bracelets, necklaces. The lowest price item costs $50. They even see some of the jewels are priced at over a $1000. The jewelry section also has two small rooms. One of them has a clear window and man is seen adjusting a jeweled watch. The other room a employee exits and it looks to be a small storage area.
Not wanting to be stopped (made a save vs plot) the heroes leave the section and head back to the elevator. They have to cut through the perfume section to avoid being bothered in the jewelry section. They narrowly avoid getting sprayed by the perfume employees, asking each customer if they like this fragrance. A careful eye would notice that this perfume 1940's Nina Ricci Coeur Joie 3/7 oz Flacon costs $150. Getting back on the elevator they arrive on the third floor "sporting goods, toy section, tools and crafts". As they disembark to notice the toy section and sporting good section is full of customers. The sporting good section is demoing the 1943 daisy red ryder air bee bee gun. The sales man is showing this off to fathers and sons. There is also on display a section for real guns as well and the department looks well stock in ammo, hunting accessories, and camping gear. They toy section the sales reps are showing off new pull toys (wooden dogs/ bugs/some toy cars) and one employee is reading a little golden book by Walt Disney "Once upon a Wintertime." Snakes and ladders board game is brand new, a Judy Garland doll is being purchased and a doll house where girls are playing. The back shelf has some nicely crafted wooded dolls and planes. Also at a small table is an elderly man crafting a doll on site. Some kids are asking him questions and he seems to be a nice person.
The sporting goods and the toy section have back rooms for additional stock. Also one odd thing is the old man crafting the dolls and the models are not employees of the department store. With some looking around and getting the scene the time would be 630 pm by the time they finish their tour. Also the second floor has a restaurant in the store serving food.
So actions for all heroes

The Agent reflects for a moment on how he was crafted as well. He would like to get a good look at the craftsmanship of the toy-maker. Is it in anyway similar to the clockwork airplane and soldier they saw before?

Agent passes by the table and notices the old man does an exceptional job at crafting toys. The work is exceptional and the dolls seem almost lifelike for the 1940's. You also see on the toy shelf a couple of clockwork airplanes and some wooden soldiers in their packaging. The toymaker is an older man probably in his 50's with white hair and kindly blue eyes. As he his working he is telling stories of his homeland about windmills and fresh made European chocolate and he does has a European accent. His origin suggest Holland or Switzerland.

As Agent echo is observing the old man doll maker, a mother and daughter move away from the table from a few feet and Arrowhead can hear them say, " yes Amy I spoke with Mr. Benziger and you are next for the doll you want made. He is such a nice man and he does excellent work. Happy Birthday Amy." As Arrowhead is hearing this, both heroes notice a young man, probably a junior or senior in high school, carrying a box walk up to the Mr Benziger (toymaker) and hand it to him. He stops for a second and since there is a small crowd, thanks the kid who then heads back to the sporting goods section. One odd note though this kid is not a store employee.
Meanwhile, the Web is sitting in his car going through the addresses and his maps, plotting his course for the night. Depending on if he wants to check out all of the leads, this will take a good chunk of the evening. He also ponders his plan of attack when he arrives at these homes. Is he going to use breaking and entering? the direct approach by knocking on the front door?
So where are the heroes going to do next and will the mad bomber succeed?

The Web knows exactly where to go -- but decides at the last minute not to do it yet. He wants input from his comrades. So he turns down a quiet street, takes off his mask, and puts a shirt back on over his costume. Then he heads for downtown. He doesn't know where Arrowhead and Echo are, exactly, but he hopes to get lucky and spot one or both of them while driving around the area of the bomb threat.

The web easily switches to his mild mannered professor identity and makes the drive to Saks Department store. He decides to stop at one of these new "Drive-by-restaurants"called "McDonald's" and had dinner. Enjoying his burger and fries he makes it to the department store. (rolling save vs plot) The web finds a parking spot and looks over to the spot next to him and recognizes the motorcycle , by its license plates, as Arrowhead's bike.
( at this point I need actions from the Arrowhead and Agent echo to see where they are? are they enjoying the restaurant food, still in toy section?)

Before the move off to make a plan the Agent wants to see what he can see about the box. Coming from the sporting goods section, does he think it's ammo? I want to remember the old man and then Agent and A-head move off to discuss the plan and take up stake-out positions. If we happen to bump into anyone else we can deal with that as it happens...

The boy apparently comes from the backroom/stockroom which is between the sporting good section and the toy section. The box looks like a toy box and when the old doll maker opens it the Agent can see other dolls in the box. Some are wooded, some with cloth, and some are clockwork. Also in the box are doll supplies and the old man pulls out some buttons. He sews these buttons making a dress for the girl doll. Oddly enough though those buttons seem really shiny. Maybe the light of the room misleads the viewer but the Agent sees there is a little sparkle emanating from the buttons. The little girl thanks the doll maker and he smiles and shakes the girl's hand. The little girl and mother leave the toy department. Both heroes get dinner in the store restaraunt
The Doll maker works to about 745 and as the heroes finish eating they see him head to the elevator and head down to the first floor. They see him meet the same boy who delivered the box and both men leave the store. The box is not with the old man nor the boy. The Doll maker and boy head to a car in the parking lot and drive off. At this point the rest of the customers leave as the store closes at 8.
As both heroes plan what to do next, the Web is pulling into the parking and sees the other two heroes. All three heroes are now reunited. At this point the store is closed and the employees are making the late night closing procedures and the last customers are being checked out and escorted outside.
Actions for all
