Howard says " no I am not quiting but we are running out of leads. We could take a ride to the airport and see who this ticket belonged too. Another option is to go to the morgue and see if the hit man personally belongings had anything on them. "

Henri apparently had nothing else to add after all. It took the Sarge about 10 minutes to find a map of the Sawtooth Range, but once he unfurled it on a nearby wall for Henri to see, Henri could point out the area right away. "Zere. Zat canyon. On 'ze north side." ((to the left of the top of the red circle)) When The Leading Man asked about the FBI, he found his clever ideas blocked again. "The FBI's Minneapolis office was shut down almost two years ago," Sgt. Colvin explained. "No idea why." So The Leading Man borrowed a phone and paid for some long distance phone calling (($1.50)). He contacted the FBI's Chicago office and asked if there was at least an agent in the state who could help. He was told, cryptically, that if he contacted the Minneapolis police department they could help him, but this agent could not tell The Leading Man more over the phone about it. "Is there anything else the FBI can do to help me?" The Leading Man asked. "Yes, and..." "...wish you to have a nice day!" The Leading Man stared at the phone for a moment before he hung it up. He decided that the next best thing would be to head over to the Minneapolis Police Department's HQ and inquire after a possible FBI agent. If he could not convince the U.S. Army to help him he hoped an FBI agent could get the Deselles to safety.

Cap thought grimly about his situation. Hell of a first outing, getting my jaw handed to me the first time, he pondered grimly. As for this kid Andrew, seems to be more to him that meets the eye. "So what where you thinking Andy, taking on anyone that big, I mean you got some moxie on the ball there but you could have been hurt?" "I didn't think about it much, to be honest," Andrew said. You got that right kid. Could of got us both killed."It looked like you could use help, so I did what I could." Andrew paused a moment before continuing. "Are those guys the reason you're here in Minneapolis?"

"It's too bad we couldn't get a description of this Liam guy from the maid. Then we could have gone to the airport and asked if the same man came in on the plane. Of course, that still doesn't prove if he's guilty or innocent. "If you go to the morgue, I'll wait in the car. I don't like hospitals..."

He decided that the next best thing would be to head over to the Minneapolis Police Department's HQ and inquire after a possible FBI agent. If he could not convince the U.S. Army to help him he hoped an FBI agent could get the Deselles to safety. One trolley ride, a little walking from the stop, and 30 minutes later, The Leading Man was at the Minneapolis Police Station. Like at the army fort, he would have to start at the bottom and work his way up the chain of command. A beat cop named Bryson was very friendly and helpful. He got The Leading Man inside, past the grumpy-looking man at the front desk, and straight to an officer. Officer Thompson, a man with Coke bottle lenses on his glasses, a broad, ugly nose, and a walrus mustache, was less helpful, or at least dodgier with his information. "Yes, a FBI agent is working in the Minneapolis area right now. I cannot divulge his name or contact information. If you'd like, you can leave a message for him with us." (( rolls: 8+2, 4+2))

"Sure, the name is Leigh Mink. Tell him I have information about the Silver Shirts but I really need to hear from him today or that information won't be any good anymore. He can reach me at..." and The Leading Man mentioned the name of a diner cafe he had seen nearby. "I'll be there until 2."
"Leigh Mink" left his message and headed back out to the diner cafe. He figured it was time to eat. He was never really hungry, he chalked it up to a high metabolism. He knew he had to eat though because once he had gone two days without eating and then he had just shut down. The guys at MOVIES had found him in his apartment and had to get him running again.

"Well I guess I should get out of here, let me get to my hotel and change and then we'll get some breakfast, on me of course. Then after that let's head to headquarters. I need more information on these guys."

Then after that let's head to headquarters. I need more information on these guys." It was clear that Agent Murphy was still a little disoriented from his beating, thinking it was breakfast time at dinner time. The doctor came in and explained that Murphy had a mild concussion and should remain there for at least 24 hours' rest. Rick was fairly confident he didn't need that long, though, and the doctor was still unaware of his superpowers. Rick acquiesced to staying a little longer, at least until his room wasn't being so closely watched. He ordered some hospital food, offering to share it with Andrew. By 6 o'clock, they had snuck out of the hospital and went back to the police station together, where a very old note was waiting for them with Lt. Jeremy Swain. "A man named Leigh Mink called earlier, wanting to talk to the FBI. He said he had information about the Silver Shirts, but that he really needed to hear from you today or that information won't be any good anymore. He was going to wait at this diner cafe until 2 o'clock. We tried to find you, but didn't know where you were," said the grizzled lieutenant.

" "Oh, I do know the maid's name," Veronica suddenly volunteered, as Howard was paying the bill. "Erica Shannon. Maybe we can find her if she has a public phone number...?" Howard went to a phone booth, got an operator on the line, and convinced her to look up Erica Shannon's in the Minneapolis area. He got a list of seven E. Shannon's. (( roll: 7))

Why don't you give them a call and head on home. You can use the phone here."

Howard goes back to the cashier and gets a dollar worth of change. He then proceeds to call each of those seven listing service until he gets the correct person. His conversation will be that he is offering free tickets for tonight's show but only to the correct Erica. Howard will ask if she works as a maid and works for Henri.

The Leading Man felt energized after eating a hearty meal. His meal cost him $2, plus tip. He lingered past 2, staying until 2:30, watching the other diners for any sign of a G-Man among them. When it looked like his G-Man wasn't going to show, The Leading Man had to decide if he was going to risk leaving contact information here for the G-Man, if he just came much later, or leave some clue behind that a clever G-Man would discover, but others who might be on his trail would hopefully miss.

They're both wanted men, Clark for bank robbery and Bruce for attempted kidnapping. Both last sighted in... [papers rustling] St. Paul, 32 days ago. The St. Paul Police missed them both in a botched raid. The A.P.B. is going out right now, sir!"
