Charlie finds a diner across the street and had lunch. From the window of the diner he has a clear view of the property. Around 1 PM , a car pulls into the alleyway and this car is the Dollmaker. Charlie sees the man exit the vehicle and he disappears. After a couple of minutes, the upstairs apartment light comes on.
John sees the bus and speaks with the tour guide. The tour guide is fine with adding John to the tour, John is charged $10. John then boards the bus and the bus enters the studio. The guide shows everyone each studio from the bus, explaining the upcoming movies, which actors are filming, and also some locations where some of the stars are staying. The movie that Harris is in is revealed to be at studio 4. The bus will be passing by that in the 2nd half of the tour. Around 1 pm, halfway through the tour, the bus stops at a shop. The guide says there are gifts that can be purchased and also where bathroom breaks.
( actions for John and Charlie. There are opportunities for John to slip off the tour)

John did slip away. Ideally, he would find things being delivered into studio 4, pick some of it up, and help deliver it to get him inside. If that was not going to work, plan B was to slip inside if no one was looking. If that failed, ...well, he would come up with a plan C later.

Charlie waits, pretending to read a newspaper, and drinking coffee until 4 pm. If the dollmaker leaves before that, Charlie will trail him. Otherwise at 4 he heads back to the hotel.

Slipping past the tour, John heads to the studio 4. He does find one of the prop trucks in studio three loading props, so John borrows a crate. As he makes his away accross the street to studio 4, he sees a sign that says, "filming in progress". He also sees a guard posted outside. The time is 1:15 PM
( save vs plot to find a crate, save vs plot failed to get into studio 4 without a hindrance)
Ahead in the future the Dollmaker does come into the shop as the backroom light comes on, Charlie sees the light underneath the backroom doorway. After a few minutes the light turns off. The light to the upstairs is still on. Charlie waits to four and the dollmaker is still there. Charlie drives to the hotel ,he does recall that Theresa would like to meet at the studio at 5 and that she would leave a VIP pass for Charlie to be led in.
Charlie going to the studio or the hotel?
Before this what is Johns new plan?

John knew to be patient; the "filming in progress" sign would only be lit up during actual takes. Between takes, it should go off. In the meanwhile, he made up a story for the guard about how the director really needed this crate and he was going to have to take it in to him as soon as filming stopped.

John approaches the guard ( making reaction roll modified by Charisma) and the guard has a notepad which he looks at. The guard says, " they will be shooting until 3 pm and they have instructions not to be disturbed. " The guard looking more closer at the crate says, "sorry man but the crate belongs to studio three down the block to your right. You will need to go there."
Charlie still is checking out the doll-maker house.

"Two solid hours of shooting without breaks? That's one harsh director!" John said. He started to head towards Studio Three, turned a corner, sat down the crate, and began circling the building. ((Is there a ladder that leads up to the roof?))

Dropping the crate off and looking around there is a ladder to the roof. It is on the side of the building but to get access John will either have to move so the guard does not seem him, cut through studio three, fortunately Studio three has a sign saying, "back in an hour for lunch or go pass studio 4 heading to studio 5 and then backtracking from five to 4

John tries to sneak through studio 3 as discreetly as possible, and then make his way around to the ladder.

With some movement and timing, John makes it to Studio 4 with no major delays. He sees the ladder and makes his way up. On the roof of studio 4 is a door that says " studio catwalk/roof access". Currently the roof is empty and there is not any skylights.

John slips through the access door, picking a lock if he has to. He's increasingly wishing he had brought his costume, though...

Surprising John brought a set of picks in his civilian attire, and tries to pick it with no success. He then remembers his hero training and manages to find a pick that works and the lock opens. ( burning a stunt). Entering he sees a ladder that climbs down to a catwalk. John now sees the crew setting up the next scene. He can see miss Harris in her costume ready for the next scene. Surprising John does not see the bodyguards. Then again with some ceiling props, ceiling scenery, cameras and this is a big studio he does not see the entire structure. The next scene, john can see wires being set as if the scene might be airborne. There is some conversation and then there is movement on a ladder about twenty feet from John and below he can see someone carrying some tools ascending the ladder. The man is attired as he works for the studio and he looks to be setting up the scene. If the hand makes it to the stop John will probably be seen
( time of scene 3:15 Charlie is almost ready to leave the shop)

Rather than hide, John just heads in the opposite direction on the catwalk, walking as casually as possible as if he's meant to be there. Hopefully, the stagehand will be so busy that he won't even pay attention to him.
John repeats this as he follows the catwalk around the upper studio, watching for an opportunity to descend to a quiet corner of the studio. Once on the ground floor, he sticks to shadows and looks around for the bodyguards/Nazi agents.

as luck would have it and John pretending to "work there" the stage hand makes it to the top and does not notice John. The stage hand starts to adjust and attach the wires to a device. John continues walking around the catwalk and the catwalk does not include the entire building. I covers about half. John does though find a couple of ladders leading down to the ground floor. As he nears the opposite side, he sees at the bottom a room and a sign that says, "guests" . he also finds an office, a prop room, and several dressing rooms. With timing John descends the ladder and makes it to the ground floor. Besides stage hands running back and forth and actresses and their understudies moving as well, John finds a place to hide. He does though not see the bodyguards. While looking there is a voice of " quiet on the set, filming in 5 minutes".
( the time is now 330 pm)
