>The web could also borrow the AV department camera since the school is also has a theater department.. Unless the web wants one for himeself
Let's put Charlie in charge of buying the cameras. Better not to use the college's cameras in case something happens to them.
>So other then making random rolls for more rooftop duties are you making this plan a go for the next day?
If we know where to go by then, yes.
>You do have the address for the original restaurant in San Francisco but not her home address? Where are you guys doing this interview?
Back to the library to check San Francisco area phone books, or call the San Fransisco Public Library and have them look for the number.
If her number is unlisted, we can drive up to San Fransisco tomorrow instead and check out the restaurant first.
>The cast of this interview: is the web, arrowhead and the web SCM which is his student or the reporter... anyone else?
John, Charlie, and Rose (the student) are going.

The night goes uneventful most events are handled by the local police.
In the morning the web does find some articles about San Francisco.
" Executive Order No. 9066
The President
Executive Order
Authorizing the Secretary of War to Prescribe Military Areas
Whereas the successful prosecution of the war requires every possible protection against espionage and against sabotage to national-defense material, national-defense premises, and national-defense utilities as defined in Section 4, Act of April 20, 1918, 40 Stat. 533, as amended by the Act of November 30, 1940, 54 Stat. 1220, and the Act of August 21, 1941, 55 Stat. 655 (U.S.C., Title 50, Sec. 104);
Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority vested in me as President of the United States, and Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy, I hereby authorize and direct the Secretary of War, and the Military Commanders whom he may from time to time designate, whenever he or any designated Commander deems such action necessary or desirable, to prescribe military areas in such places and of such extent as he or the appropriate Military Commander may determine, from which any or all persons may be excluded, and with respect to which, the right of any person to enter, remain in, or leave shall be subject to whatever restrictions the Secretary of War or the appropriate Military Commander may impose in his discretion. The Secretary of War is hereby authorized to provide for residents of any such area who are excluded therefrom, such transportation, food, shelter, and other accommodations as may be necessary, in the judgment of the Secretary of War or the said Military Commander, and until other arrangements are made, to accomplish the purpose of this order. The designation of military areas in any region or locality shall supersede designations of prohibited and restricted areas by the Attorney General under the Proclamations of December 7 and 8, 1941, and shall supersede the responsibility and authority of the Attorney General under the said Proclamations in respect of such prohibited and restricted areas.
I hereby further authorize and direct the Secretary of War and the said Military Commanders to take such other steps as he or the appropriate Military Commander may deem advisable to enforce compliance with the restrictions applicable to each Military area here in above authorized to be designated, including the use of Federal troops and other Federal Agencies, with authority to accept assistance of state and local agencies.
I hereby further authorize and direct all Executive Departments, independent establishments and other Federal Agencies, to assist the Secretary of War or the said Military Commanders in carrying out this Executive Order, including the furnishing of medical aid, hospitalization, food, clothing, transportation, use of land, shelter, and other supplies, equipment, utilities, facilities, and services.
This order shall not be construed as modifying or limiting in any way the authority heretofore granted under Executive Order No. 8972, dated December 12, 1941, nor shall it be construed as limiting or modifying the duty and responsibility of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with respect to the investigation of alleged acts of sabotage or the duty and responsibility of the Attorney General and the Department of Justice under the Proclamations of December 7 and 8, 1941, prescribing regulations for the conduct and control of alien enemies, except as such duty and responsibility is superseded by the designation of military areas here under. Franklin D. Roosevelt The White House, February 19, 1942."
Interesting though this family is still listed and they show as not being relocated. She still lives with her father at his estate in Pacific Heights neighborhood of Sanfrancisco. The address is 121 Fillmore street. There is a phone listed as 209-555-1212..
This takes the web the early part of the morning. While this is occurring Arrowhead does have luck finding a camera at Macy's.. ( go ahead and use the rule book cost for the camera, not the pocket sized)
By lunch times both heroes and Rose can head out

During that day Agent echo is taking a break from his janitor services and decided to his streets to check on his fellow homeless people. They asked echo if he got the $5 and the flier for tonight meeting. The man, Jacob, shows Echo the flier and it is a meeting for all who have this flier to meet at a warehouse in the dock district. Jacob said he was approached by a pretty blond haired woman who was with a big burly blond haired man. The two only gave fliers to Jacob and three others. Jacob says they avoided Old Cat Lady June and Malcome, the night watchman who was leaving to go home. Malcome is a friend of the homeless, but because he was black is what Jacob thinks he did not get a flier. The flier lists the address and says "attend to join the true cause of the war. Snacks and drinks provided."

Charlie placed the new camera in it's leather case and slung the thin strap around his neck. His wallet was noticeably lighter.
"Oh well," he muttered as he kicked his bike to grunting life and set off to meet the Web for the day's activity.

"Rose, this is...this gentleman is helping us out in our mission," John said, delivering an awkward introduction because he was not sure how much Charlie wanted an outsider to the group to know about him.
"Only one camera...?" John said. "Fine, Rose, I'll give you some cash and you can run to a store and buy a camera just like his.
"I have a new idea for how we may appear more authentic for our ruse. It involves making a pit stop at a certain newspaper office before we head out...*"
At the office, John went to talk to his new reporter friend, James Duffy. After some pleasantries, John said, "James, let me level with you. I think I can get you an important lead on something...but I need to use your telephone without interruption."
If James went along with it, John his operator connect him with the Pacific Heights operator. ((If James balks about the expensive long distance phone call, John sits a dollar on his desk.))
"Hello, can you connect me with the Kumika residence? ...Hello, may I speak to Aiko Kumika? My name is James Duffy and I'm a reporter for ((insert name here)), I'm calling to confirm my appointment for this evening to meet with you for an interview....What? No appointment? But I was sure I called....This is very embarrassing, but my editor is expecting a profile piece on prominent Japanese-Americans who have made an important impact on California culture, and with you famous for your restaurants....Well, could you squeeze us in your morning schedule perhaps? Yes, it would be just me and two photographers."
((*I can't find where Duffy's newspaper has ever been named...))

(rolling save vs plot rolls for both hero and scm and a reaction roll)
Rose comes back and brings back the camera with no change ( go ahead scott and deduct this cost). At the newspaper office, James is handling a call on the phone when John enters the newspaper office. After a brief conversation, James makes the phone call to the operator and a man answers. "This is the Kumiko residence, one moment please." After five minutes a woman voice gets on the phone, "this is Aiko Kumika. You say you a reporter doing an interview on my culture and how it is an impact here. Hmm let me check my schedule. Well I have to be at my restaurant tonight. I can talk to you tomorrow say 10 am at the restaurant in San Francisco. Here are the directions and see you again James." Aiko then disconnects
James asks " so now that you set up this interview I guess I need to talk to my boss about leaving with you tomorrow right?"

"I wouldn't bother your boss just yet, James. I don't have a lead for you yet -- but this could be the start of something. I promise, no one will find out before you."
On their way out of the building, John said, "Is everyone ready for a trip? Rose, you'll have a separate room tonight, of course."

taking the Web mobile, our heroes leave for San Francisco. ( assuming the Web cancelled his next day classes and Arrowhead leaves his closed sign) and heads to Francisco. The trip takes 6 hours and around 730 our heroes enter San Francisco. So what is the plan for the evening
Meanwhile , Agent echo manages to disguise himself and meets the woman passing out the fliers. She is a beautiful young woman who seems nice but Echo can notice that some of her words has an accent, almost German. The flier calls for a meeting tomorrow night at pier 4 warehouse 11. The agent agrees to go and accepts the flier and the five dollar bill.

"Rose, get nice and comfy in your room. My friend and I should probably do some reconnoitering around San Francisco tonight...
Once in their shared room, alone, The Web turned to Arrowhead and said, "How about suiting up and we stake out Aiko's San Francisco restaurant for a few hours?"

"Yeah, and maybe we'll find some criminal heads to crack on the way," Charlie said. He got his suit out and got ready.

After a nice seafood dinner at the restaurant across the street from the Howard Johnson hotel, our heroes change to their evening attire. The heroes take the web mobile and after a ten minute drive see The Crazy Samurai Restaurant. There are people waiting outside to eat and the heroes can hear over a megaphone calling customers in for their reservation. The restaurant is similar to the Los Angeles location in that it is a two story structure, this one has a Japanese style lighted garden in the front and has a bigger parking lot
Agent echo spends the rest of his day working for the doctor and getting the address to his meeting the next night at the warehouse
(OOC: Is agent echo doing anything else? Do our heroes investigate this eating place further or patrol the night?)

((Patrol the vicinity, watch the back of the restaurant, no more than four hours before getting rest for the night.))

After jumping rooftops for about an hour, the duo paused for a moment. They looked out over the moonlit cityscape, poised for any apparent danger.
"You ever thought about getting a police radio for your car?," Arrowhead said. "I might be able to locate one. Probably too big for my bike."

"I never thought I'd be relying on my personal car so much in my vigilante work," The Web thoughtfully replied, "so it had not occurred to me to upgrade it.
After thinking a bit longer, The Web added, "What we need is a group car that's off the grid and not connected to any of us personally. And then outfit that with a police radio."
