MM POD update: I got my proof copy and the page numbers are way too large. Also, I'm unhappy with the spine title (or lack thereof). Once I have these fixed...well, I have to decide if I want to to pay for a second proof copy, or just send it through...

I ordered a copy from Amazon Japan and it looks great Scott! The mobsters are really well chosen, and at about 111 pages is the perfect length for a reference book. It's not to big or too small, and includes dinosaurs and Amazons, and stuff that would be great for any OSR really! I'm very pleased with it. And can't wait for round 2, Mobsters M to Z in the second book.

Thanks, Tim! A few years ago the OSR community was begging for monster books. Maybe others beat me to filling that need, but this was designed with the intention of being able to port monsters over to any campaign based on that Original Game.
Volume II will hopefully not take as long as Volume I, but it will still be some time. I have at least two books I want to get out first before I hunker back down into mobster stats.

Alternate plan under consideration: Instead of making everyone wait for a Vol II to get finished, I could keep updating the Vol I ebook each time I finished another letter.
Good plan? Flaws in it?

I'm gunna just leave this one to someone else...

James Satter has been pushing me hard to get this done, to the point where he's been helping me cull entries from the Larcenous Lexicon blog and actually writing rough drafts of a few of them. It's looking like this could finally be the year the Mobster Manual gets done!
