( at work}
After an hour the thugs come too and say, "look man we were hired by the kid. At first we didn't believe him but he put his teacher on the phone and the teacher told us that he was in charge of the jobs. Our cut was when we sold the jewels to our fence, a friend of mine in China town. Look if ya let us go I'll give ya the fence name and address."

Charlie leaned back in the chair, his feet propped up against the desk. The neck of the mostly empty beer bottle hung from two fingers of his right hand. The room was lit by a single bare bulb that hung from a socket in the middle of the ceiling. The room was shadowed and kind of musty. He really needed to clean this place up, he thought. The ambiance was likely helping in this situation though.
Charlie knew he was kind of out of his depth here. In the heat of the moment, beating up criminals was one thing. Now, after the fact, when they were beaten and captured? He didn't know what to do or say to them. He finished his beer and sat the bottle down on the desk with a hollow clink.

"Good guy conference," The Web called, and led his comrades-in-arms out of earshot of their prisoners. The Web brought the papers he saved from the fire with and flipped through them as he walked and then talked.
"I want the name of that fence," he said in a hushed whisper, "but I'm not prepared to let these two get off scot-free. Do we want to scare them into spilling, or does someone have a better idea? I'm also interested in who this teacher is. I'd be willing to bet the teacher put the kid up all this."
((Was there any sheet of paper I saved with the name of a school on it? Or maybe a letter or note with the school's letterhead on it?))

"I think the school was on the kid's ID." Agent Echo whispered. "These guys are clearly minions and don't know the big plan. We should find out how many there have been, and what else was taken. Is there anyway we could use these guys as informants in the future?"

The Web looked to Arrowhead for his reaction, knowing Arrowhead had not liked this plan from the start. Would Arrowhead prefer to turn the crooks over to the law without any further information? Would he balk at using heavier means of persuasion? How would he react to Agent Echo's stunning suggestion about letting the crooks go?

You have the kid's student identification at Theodore Roosevelt high and he is a senior
While this is going on each of you hear the thugs say to each other " Billy we are in big trouble. These guys aren't the police they are going to kill us." The other thug says " Jimmy if we give them the fence they will let us go. Also these guys want the teacher and the kid knows who he is so the kid is more important. Besides he is in juvenile hall and they don't let these type question them. So be cool and we will be all right."

"What else do we need from them?" Arrowhead whispered. "I doubt they know much more."
"One of you guys have a car? I'd like to get them out of here as soon as we can. I really don't care if we turn them over to the cops or let them go. If we let them go, we'll probably run into them later. If I see them again, I won't be so friendly."
Charlie thought for a second and then," Hold on a sec." He left the back room. Sounds of rummaging around were heard by those still in the back. Momentarily, Arrowhead returned holding a couple of burlap sacks.
"We'll blindfold them before we move them," Charlie held up the sacks.

"We know they have the name of a fence and I'd like to lean on that fence," The Web responded. "Agent Echo is also right to want to know if there is more to the gang than we captured. This was just the guys who were on guard duty tonight, but what if there were other shifts?
"Once they've talked, I'm okay with letting them go, hands tied and hooded, with the understanding that they only have a head start before we call the cops. That's more of a chance than they deserve, but it's a chance they'll have earned by talking."

Meanwhile.....
The warehouse fire is put out and the two thugs and kid scientist are taken into custody. The two thugs are put into a holding cell and the boy is taken to juvenile hall. The parents of the boy is called and then the kid waits in a cell.
A few minutes later as the heroes wake the thugs up a man enters the juvenile hall and ten minutes later the kid and man walk to a car and leave

OOC: Ooooh... cut scene. Excellent.
"After we get the name of the fence we can either check him out, or go straight to the school. Once they give us the info I'll agree to either let them go, or send them up the river to the big house. Whatever you two think is best."
Checks clock in room.

Once that was settled, The Web went back with Agent Echo to play bad cop and badder cop with the two thugs until they snitched on the fence and everyone else who was involved in the gang.

The other thug Billy says " look we give our cut to Ramirez, at 23rd pawnbrokers off 23rd st. It is on the corner of 5th ave and 23rd st. Ramirez can help you. Can you let us go?"

"We've got to get these two out of here before light," Charlie says as he gets up with the two sacks in hand. "Here, put these over their heads." Charlie threw the sacks to the Webb. He then drew Echo close and whispered," We need to get these two to the police, or at least close and let the cops know. You carry one and I carry the other?"

"Check A-head!" Echo slung the thug over his shoulder. Let's go.
