oh, thanks for these. I can see 1 & 3 being very relevant in PBP. 2 happens at the table for me as well.
I love the flavor of H&H. You captured it so well.
For this game I like the pacing, but I do have to go back and re-read sometimes to figure out how many clues we actually have. I'm playing Echo as a newbie to be in-line with this being my first with H&H and PBP, so I'm likely to follow A-head and The Web's lead. Thanks for including me.

one rule that I should have came up with is languages: I am not sure Scott if you have covered this in the main rules or you guys have not chosen them, but since Los Angeles is a melting pot, we should have them. So lets have everyone post their native language and depending on intelligence some others.

So lets have everyone post their native language and depending on intelligence some others. Both editions of the game address the topic of languages (I can't give you page numbers off the top of my head, but it's within the first 15 pages each time). If you want Heroes to have to pick all their languages, you'll probably want to borrow a game mechanic from another game for it. So, let us know how many languages we can know.

I am probably going to user some variant of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, but since this is not a fantasy setting and more modern era I am probably going to limit the number of languages. I will base this on Intelligence but will allow learning a new language over time, unless some trophy item grants other languages or magic

Since this is not modern era where bilingual is the norm, will say native language for agent echo, since he was built with one language, Charlie one language unless he has a backstory for a 2nd language and the professor I can let him have two fluent languages

That's way more restrictive than D&D, but okay...
The Web picks English and Spanish then.

Hmnnn...I like the 'Everybody speaks English, just with different accents', but it's your game. Charlie was raised on the Cherokee reservation so he'd be a native Cherokee speaker. He also speaks English, he wouldn't have been able to operate in the Marines without it, let alone run a business in LA. I could also make a case for him being conversant in Spanish.
