Howard says " If you did not see the paper this morning Sid's killer has been caught. When you are ready to come back to work let's us know. For now get some rest and if you any assistance in the future reach me at the theatre or at this phone number. Howard does some sleight of hand trick and produces his card. " They both leave and Howard says let's go to the address June just gave us. Hopefully we can get some clues. By 4:30, Veronica was tired of investigating for the day and asked to be dropped off back to the hotel. Howard went on alone from there to the Minneapolis Club. The Club was ritzy and unwelcoming to strangers, until Howard told the doorman that he was a magician. "Our membership might find it amusing to have you come in, if you performed a few tricks for us," the doorman said. "Hold on, let me discuss that with my supervisor." The supervisor agreed and Howard was let inside. The Club was as stuffy and ostentatious as one would have imagined it to be, and sparsely populated by old white men in nice suits of a particularly conservative cut. Howard had to do a few simple sleight of hand tricks to keep from getting booted out. He was sizing up who to start asking about Henri Deselles, when he heard the name being said by a worker on the phone. "No, Mr. Nesbitt isn't here yet, Mr. Deselles. Can I take a message for him?"

Howard moves over and says to the worker in his persuasive tone , " excuse me not to overhearing but I have a message for henri, it is about work and it will only take a second. May I talk to him"
Unless the worker resists Howard takes the phone and says " Henri this is Howard are you safe?"

The Leading Man made his way toward the desk where he would pick up his purchases - he had his taxicab friend, Andrew Torgsen, out front waiting to take him back to his hotel. He politely stepped aside to let the policeman-looking fellow walk past and toward the exit. But the man was slowing and finally stopped right in front of The Leading Man.
"Excuse me," The Leading Man said and tried to move out of the way again, perhaps the fellow was interested in looking at something on the rack behind him.

He had a lot of questions, but it was probably best to let the G-Man take the lead.

Howard who?" came an accented voice on the other end.

He then reached inside his jacket and displayed his FBI ID.

After gathering his purchases, The Leading Man put them in the trunk of Andrew's cab. He gave him a $5 to deliver them to his hotel. Then he led Agent Murphy and the teenager who seemed to be with him to a bus stop bench nearby where they could talk. "I was hoping to find you. I work for another part of our government and I've lost contact with them. What's more, I have two VIPs who need to be kept safe from the Silver Shirts. And finally, I have a lead on where the local Silver Shirt organization might have their hideout. Maybe an FBI agent like you can help keep my VIPs safe?"

I -- wait, how do I know 'zis is 'ze Cabalist?" There was only a short pause on the other line, and then Henri hung up on him. (( roll: 3))

Howard calls back and asks the operator to connect back to the last number that called in. If this fails he asks the worker " so I know Henri calls this place and me and my playhouse are worried about him you know where he stays."
Last option since this is a restaraunt if there is food being delivered to Henri address Howard will try to look at the receipt to find the address.

"Yes, sir, the call came from Fort Snelling, the Army base," the operator told him. The Cabalist did not know how to get to Fort Snelling, but he was in a fancy gentleman's club (not a restaurant) and had plenty of people around him to ask. He quickly found out that Fort Snelling was a 20 minute's drive south of Minneapolis. (( roll: 8))

"What's a silver shirt," Andrew chimed in enthusiastically. The Leading Man explained, "The VIPs are Henri Leselles, a Frenchie with good knowledge of Kraut-doings, and his wife, though I'm not sure that'll last much longer. I've got them holed up at Fort Snelling but I'm not sure they'll let me keep them there without some improved bone-a-fides. I already saved them from two murderers last night, I'd like to keep them alive. That's why I'm asking you for help." He answered Andrew's question patiently, "A Silver Shirt is an American who has gone sick in the head and chose to support the un-American ideas of Hitler and his boys. There aren't many of them but the ones we have are up to no good."
