Awhile ago, I had an idea about a missed opportunity with my Larcenous Lexicon blog. While I've been going through the history of comic books, issue by issue, I could have been saving every establishing long shot panel I could find, and build some kind of random location generator for H&H out of it.
There have been other H&H projects that haven't happened.
I understand that Steve Lopez's sequel module, FS2, still exists in the form of written notes, but since he has moved on from H&H those notes are unlikely to ever see the light of day.
I have a Mobsters & Trophies Assortment accessory sitting on this hard drive that is maybe... 1/4 done? I thought it would be an easy side project, but rolling up all that stuff is actually quite time-consuming.
Before I even thought to do Supplement V: Big Bang, I had a notion of doing an all-Western-themed Supplement V, and maybe follow that with an all-sci fi-themed Supplement VI. There are other retroclone western/sci fi games out there now, though, which makes me think those supplements would have an even harder time finding an audience.

Considering that Comics (especially in the Golden Age) are often a gigantic melange of Crime Story, Slapstick Comedy, Supernatural Horror, Lost World Exploration, Science Fiction of both the World of Tomorrow and Planetary Romance type, Wild Western, War Story, Fantasy ranging from Arthurian to Arabian to Modern etc etc etc...I think you made the right call. Your rules can pretty much handle it all as written. Western? Fighter and maybe the optional Cowboy Class. Weird Western? Maybe add Magic-User into the mix. Modern Western/Fading Frontier genre? Fighter, Cowboy, optional Pilot class, allow Inventing and some modern Trophies. Gonzo Pulp Western? Back to the full rules... Supernatural Horror Investigation? Fighter, optional Magic-User, and everybody takes some variation of Half-pint (Old Man, Skinny Bookworm, etc) to reflect less robust 'heroes' who sometimes get lucky breaks...might work well for the 'Dark Gothic Fairy Tale' as well. There's nothing to prevent you from making all the genre supplements you want IF you ever have the spare time and the desire, but it isn't really required... as much as I loved seeing the AD&D 2nd Edition Worldbooks for Vikings, Ancient World, Paladins etc, I already knew that the game could Already Do That As Is with just a Genre Tweak and a little Handwavium on my part. In short, I WANT more cool toys, but i don't NEED them, and as much as I will miss the once-forthcoming FS2, I think that the first one gave me enough material to make my own sequels, and perhaps Mr Lopez will publish something in another genre I will want in the future. As for my OWN 'failed' project-conflicting work schedules inflicted on four mature adults by a Cruel and Uncaring World (insert SAD VIOLIN MUSIC here ) have to date prevented any of us for meeting up at the same time to indulge in gaming...sad, but bills must be paid. Our Gothic Quasi-historical Superpulp H&H is on hold until I can find a way for actual face-to-face Elfgaming (we tried play by post and it just wasn't for us). I'm toying with letting each Player have two Heroes and using the somewhat stale convention of a Secret Society of Do-gooders in order to facilitate a 'JLA Roll Call' style of one-shots with what Players I can actually meet with on a given night. I haven't forgotten your generous offer of allowing space for our adventures on the Forum, and if this game of mine ever STOPS being Vaporware i'll take you up on it...
