June 10, 1941. Mr. X surrenders to police.
June 15, 1941.
Sandman
Wesley Dodds invites Dian Belmont, his girlfriend he hasn't seen in awhile, to New York, where they soon become regulars at the Voodoo Club -- a posh nightclub with just a voodoo theme, some colored entertainers, and exotic dancers. Dian was befriending one of the dancers there, Fay Descaules. By day, Wesley spends much of his time sending telegrams and making telephone calls to his billion-dollar steel and chemical empire in Philadelphia, catching up on controlling his businesses. In what downtime was still available to him, Wesley worked on a new invention -- a wirepoon gun that the Sandman could use.
Hourman
Rex Tyler returns to work at Bannerman Laboratories, his boss very suspicious of Rex's excuses for missing so much work. That night, Bannerman Labs are robbed. As the Hourman, Rex arrives on the scene too late to stop the thieves and police accuse him of the robbery. Hourman also discovers that his Miraclo supply has been stolen from the lab. He eventually tracks down the crooks. One of them has taken the stolen Miraclo and gained enhanced strength. Hourman defeats him anyway. The crooks are turned over to the police which clears his name. - 800 xp.
Green Lantern
Alan Scott is given a permanent position with Apex Broadcasting, where his girlfriend Irene already works, as their chief engineer. He and Irene are invited to a meeting with their boss, Mr. John Wallace, and a Dr. Blaine Henry, who has invented an improved radio with better reception that should have much less static. Dr. Henry seems nervous at the meeting and, curiously, entrusts his plans to Irene before leaving. When Alan presses him as to why, Dr. Henry admits privately that others are after the plans and he does not feel safe.
Atom
Al Pratt returns to Ithaca, New York. While getting a summer job at a local gym during the day, at night the Atom seeks to help a young boy, Jimmy Baker, whose father was framed for arson. Atom's investigation leads him to two men, Stroehm and Kane. They have framed Baker in order to get his wife to sell their land where a large deposit of copper exists. Atom and Mary James confront Stroehm and get him to sign a confession. Atom then turns them over to the police. Mr. Baker is then exonerated. - 600 xp.
Flash, Hawkman
They just be chilling.
June 20, 1941
Sandman
Dian's friend, Fay, is being terrified by threatening voodoo symbols being left for her at the club. Wesley also learns that a financier who attended last night's show has died. Fay is a suspect because her costume tail was found at the scene. At first Wesley suspects a witch doctor at the club, but soon proves the murderer was the dead man's partner, who had long planned to frame Fay for the deed. He even got to try out the new wirepoon gun -- it worked! - 800 xp.
Four robbers try to steal Dr. Henry's plans from Irene. Green Lantern stops three of them, but the last crook is about to escape with some of the plans -- until stopped by a cab driver named "Doiby" Dickles. Dickles has been inspired by a recent encounter with Hawkman to try to do good deeds. Green Lantern thanks "Doiby" for his help.

All eight members of the Justice Society of America meet, officially, in a hotel conference room. The Spectre, Flash, and Dr. Fate fill everyone in on what they were busy doing to take down Mr. X's organization -- concentrating on gamblers, arsonists, and phony seance racketeers respectively.
The Spectre has further news to share. "I would like to report more on the alien from the Dark Planet that Flash caught in Toledo. I learned that this was no isolated threat. Two smaller Midwest towns were decimated by these aliens, in preparation for landing an invasion fleet. Despite their magic-like technology, I repelled them and have sealed off their access to Earth...for the time being."
"Wow, that's great!" Johnny Thunder says. Johnny has magically found the secret meeting location again. After politely escorting him out, the Society discusses whether it wouldn't be better just to make Johnny a member since he's just going to crash their meetings anyway. The matter is tabled, to be decided at the next meeting in two months.
June 30, 1941
Flash
Jay Garrick nearly hits a man with his car. The man claims to be hit anyway tipping Jay off to an accident racket. He investigates as the Flash and learns that several racketeers are staging phony accidents in order to get insurance money payoffs. Flash locates Gypper Zilch, the lawyer working with the racketeers. He gets the lawyer to sign a confession and turn over evidence which Flash is able to use to round up the other racketeers. - 1,300 xp.
Green Lantern
The radio is completed, but the crooks strike again, thinking Alan still has the plans. This time, Alan, as Green Lantern, is knocked out, but "Doiby" has made his own combination of Hawkman and Green Lantern's costumes and goes after the crooks who have captured Irene. GL recovers in time to assist the cabbie in defeating the villains, and "Doiby" becomes his sidekick. - 1,000 xp.
