This was the Summer 2012 issue. Weighing in at 20 pages, this remains one of my favorite issues I ever did.
For one thing, it was the most contributors I ever had for a single issue -- six. There's two articles by Walt Jillson, the only article I ever got out of Jason Johnson, Q&A questions submitted by Bob Druschitz, and two reprint pieces, Salvatore Macri's bulette stats for Swords & Wizardry and Steve Lopez's Nazi stats from his blog (both used with permission). More, if you count the suggestions I got in a chatroom for the "100 Random Clues" article I wrote. More still if you count the helpful feedback from a reference librarian at the Duluth Public Library (never did learn his name!) for the "Duluth Gazeteer".
I'm proud of "100 Random Clues" for being one of most useful, system neutral articles, but prouder still of the "Duluth Gazeteer". Clocking in at just six and a half pages (counting the map), it's still the most comprehensive "original" campaign setting (that is, not set in the World of Greyhawk) I've ever spent time developing. And then there's also my Captain Marvel annotations; never well-received, but a hugely self-indulgent project in examining his first appearances in minute detail.
