There are three published versions of the H&H Hero Record Sheet so far. One is the simple index card format shown in Book I (good for demonstrating the simplicity of making 1st-level Heroes, but easily filled up with notes). One is a more complex version used by a player and once submitted to The Trophy Case. But my favorite is still this one (scroll all the way down to the bottom for the download). One of the things I like best about it was added purely for aesthetics -- the "to hit" line that cinches the waist of the hero record sheet like a belt, breaking up its verticality. And that's a complete reversal for me. As a game referee, I used to strongly dislike players knowing what number they needed to hit or save; I was of the mentality "don't tell me if you hit, I'll tell you." But now I like having those numbers right out there on the table. I seldom even check tables behind my screens anymore; if I need a reminder of what a mobster needs to hit, I just lean over and look at that line on the record sheets in front of me.

Oh, I remember this one-it got me curious enough about the game to purchase the 3-book bundle! Never been happier with a purchase either, particularly at the price... I tend to use a cross between this and the simplified one-since I plan on using Ascending AC in our forthcoming (before Ragnarok I hope! ) games, I only need to write one To-Hit number, one Save(modifiers trailing in parenthesis like so) leaving the bottom of the sheet with extra space-and fewer numbers to erase later..
