Honestly, I started off by looking for superhero icons to use instead of one of my usual avatar pictures in my profile. This got me to trying to decide which was my favorite superhero, and I have a hard time narrowing it down to just one. So I tried a few of those online "which superhero are you" quizsses. Of course, I quickly realized that it makes a difference whether I answer them as "real world me" or "superhero character" me.... I think that all of these are DC superheroes, but they have a nice format for the quiz. Lots of questions and hard to "cheat" to try to get the one you want. www.thesuperheroquiz.com/This one is a lot faster to take, with only one-word "questions" and you decide how much like or unlike them you are. www.matthewbarr.co.uk/superhero/ Most of the quizzes seem to be aimed at good guys, but this one is neat because it allows for any Marvel Universe character, good or bad. ikwiz.com/quizstart.asp?q=208&name=Which+Marvel+Universe+Character+Are+You%3F When it was all done, I'm not sure I learned much about myself but I had fun. Oh, and most of the quizzes came up either superman or spider man for me.

No one's using an icon for Spider-Man yet. Snatch it up while you can!

Weird. I got Spider-man, Professor X and Captain America, in order of each poll above. Well, at least all of them are relatively rational and well-balanced people...

No one's using an icon for Spider-Man yet. Snatch it up while you can! Well, it's not so much coming up with one that isn't taken as finding one that "fits" me best. My wife and daughter were on a long car ride yesterday, so I told them that if they got bored they could discuss which superhero best fit me. They came up with Green Lantern. (I wold be the modern-day one -- Hal Jordan -- whereas the other one here looked like the Golden Age Alan Scott.)
