"You have a prisoner? Was he involved at Sak's?" Charlie said.

Sergeant helms comments, " we do have a person being questioned. He claims he is a janitor at Saks. We found that his identification is fake. Saks denies employing him. He is not answering our questions. We have Army intelligence coming tomorrow to question in a different way. why the interest?"
meanwhile the Web and Rose head to the Los Angelas Public library. Both of them head back to the old newspapers and in some cases get assistant with using the microfiche. They will probably be there until the library closes ( will make search rolls before starting the next day)
is our heroes reuniting for dinner on day three or day 4 ? Also each of you should be fully healed with the rest. I will also making some random news events as well.

((Please, a professor and a star pupil wouldn't need any help with microfiche! And it's the evening of day 4 that we rendezvous. I have one more day to go and Arrowhead has two.))
Also, ((since I haven't mentioned this in a while)) John starts each day by absorbing the morning papers (he gets the Los Angeles Examiner and the Los Angeles Times to compare, and has been thinking about subscribing to the Daily News as well), searching for weird events that might need vigilante justice ((plot hooks)). Then he does a 1-hour workout, followed by breakfast. And this is all before 9 am.

"Like I said Manny, I was there," Charlie smiled. "It's been great to meet you, a guy can never have too many friends, if you know what I mean." Charlie got up. "Hey, here's my card if you need to get a hold of me."

((OOC. That's all I have for downtime, unless anything else pops up. Consider Charlie to be getting work done at the shop.))

((About done with mine too. I figure, 1-2 skill checks each to see if we find anything interesting about Swan, and then spend a little time reading what articles James has written so far for the paper -- see if he's ever covered the crime beat before. By then, I'll thank Rose for all her diligent work and get ready to meet the others.))

for Arrowhead: Arrowhead gives his card and gets his SCM and heads back to the shop. Other then normal daily tasks he is ready to meet with the others
For Agent Echo: agent echo secures his home with the landlord by accepting the job as a janitor for the doctors office. The doctor gives him a discount on the rent and also becomes the Agent SCM. Also the doctor gives him a referral to a professor Hannesey of the UCLA college science department. The doctor hopes Professor Hannesey who is also a science can help the agent find his origin
For the web: The last day, both the professor and his pupil go through the library for research. On their way in their new friend continues to write about the incident at Saks and in the article has tried to interview Detective Swan but Swan is still sticking with the " case is still an ongoing investigation." Arriving at the library, Detective Swan appeared within the the last year. The cases were small cases, a break an entering, burglary and arson cases. These cases were handled with thoroughness and "by the book". Also in most articles, Swan hated doing interviews and seems to dislike the press. Rose finds an older article about three years ago, showing a beat cop Swan where he helped a Detective Francis solve a murder. Detective Francis highly praised Swan's actions and efficiency and told the press during the interview that Swan needed to be promoted. One more thing that Rose simply passes over but catches the Web's eyes is a lot of positive media for the War.Positive press and cartoons supporting the USA and denouncing the Nazi and Japan. While this may seem normal this does seem to bother the Web of the intent at Sak's
( awarding exp for the downtime): each person gets 150 exp plus those SCMS ( also for the web add Rose to your SCM as well)

All three heroes arrive at Arrowhead shop the next day ( all heroes are healed of their wounds). Other then normal daily news, sports scores, weather, new music and positive war news, nothing else catches anyone eyes. We now focus on the heroes discussing their evidence

( also for the web add Rose to your SCM as well) ((Rose was my bonus SCM from the start.)) John took much less care about his identity this time; he drove right into Charlie's garage, stepped into a side room with a briefcase, and emerged as The Web. "Good to see you again, gentlemen. Can I assume our downtime was productive?"

"Good, good," The Web said as the others only nodded. "Let me share what I learned first.
"I confirmed that the FBI and military intelligence were both at Sak's four nights ago with the first reporter on the scene, James Duffy. He's a new kid on the paper, and we could use that to our advantage. One problem we're facing is poor PR, and James needs to build himself a reputation. If we started leaking him information about us, he might start promoting us in his paper.
"More importantly, a Detective Swan was the local officer in charge of investigating at Sak's that night. I researched his record, and he seems like a real honest cop. We can probably trust anything he tells us in the future, but I don't know how he feels about costumed vigilantes working in his town yet.
"So that's what I've got. Anyone else do or learn anything handy?"

"I contacted a Sergeant in the S-4 out at Camp Ayers." Charlie said with pride. Then as his companions looked blankly at him, "Army Intelligence."
"We swapped some war stories and I found out that they have a prisoner who was captured at Sak's. He claims he was a janitor, which the store denies. This Sergeant might be helpful in the future."

"Excellent," The Web said. "I think we can piece together the organization of the opposition from what we know so far. Bruno, our teacher, recruited the gullible students to drop off and remotely control the toys. The Toy Maker provided the toys. The fake janitor was a Nazi spy who at some point recruited both of them.
"Of course, as usual, we're left with questions. Are there other spies left uncaught? And what would their agenda be all the way out here on the west coast? What were they hoping to accomplish?
"We also have the drug ring from Simply Ming's to look into. We know Ming's is part of a two-store chain owned by Aiko Kumika, but we haven't had time to investigate Aiko and find out if she is involved in the drug running or not. If it's not her, we need to find out who's on top.
"Oh, and we should check on Ramirez's pawnshop and make sure the drug runners never came back to hassle him and his daughter.
"Anything else on our agenda I've forgotten?"

(OOC forgot to make a roll during the dollmaker escape, I made the roll just didn't provide the clue, giving this now)
Agent echo listens intently and says, " well guys I have not done much investigating but I found a place to live and a day to day job. The doctor who took me in let me work for him to help pay the rent. The doctor also put me in contact with an associate of his, a science professor at UCLA university. The scientist may help me find out who i am." The agent says to the web's summary" hey guys I remember seeing a vehicle leaving the alleyway out of the dollmakers store. I know the car is a four door and I know it is the dollmakers vehicle as me and Arrowhead saw it earlier that night. The California license plate number is QBR456."

"Good recall, Echo. Okay, so we've got our goals and we have some leads. Now we need to prioritize.
"As much as drug running and threatening pawnshop owners bother me, I feel foreign agents on our soil is the greatest problem. Do you both agree?"

"Yeah. Our priority needs to be the spies. How do we track that license number?"
