The Leading Man entered the chamber and headed for the bridge. If nothing burst out to kill them he would continue across the creepy bridge and toward the archway.

For a change, nothing burst out to kill them. The Leading Man crossed the creepy bridge and entered a 20' wide corridor with a 15' high arched ceiling. The hallway seemed rough, the walls composed of ill-fitting stone slabs. It remained dark, so flashlights remained essential.
The hallway continued for 50' to a four-way intersection. Side passages went to the northwest (right) and southeast (left), but appeared to both go only 40' and dead end. Ahead, the hallway continued for 40' before widening into what appeared to be a room.
The humming sound was getting louder.

The statue was much more detailed than the painted art on the walls, but they were similar enough that they might have represented the same thing.

Investigate the humming noise room

Everyone paused here so The Cabalist could listen. He thought the humming noise was definitely coming from straight up ahead. So everyone moved past the side passages and proceeded to the room further southwest.
When they reached the "room" up ahead, it was difficult to say if this was an actual room or just a widening of the hallway. The 20' wide northeast-southwest hallway definitely continued out the other side, and there were side passages, only 10' wide, heading east, south, west, and north of here. This room was a square area, 40' on a side, with a 25' high ceiling. In the center of this area was a tall dais flanked with steps on all sides, with a black statue of a skeleton - similar in pose and structure to the lizard man statue back in the octagonal chamber. This statue faced west.

"If we're looking for that sound, let's keep moving."

After 40' more, the heroes came to another 4-way intersection, with what appeared to be dead end passages to the northwest (right) and southeast (left). By now, it was clear that the noise was not just a loud humming, it was a whole bunch of noises, like a chorus of Australian didgeridoos.
Past that, this long corridor just kept continuing for 50' more before coming to what appeared to be its ending -- a second octagonal chamber, the same size as the first. There was no bridge with bone railings or a stream in here, but there were tattered rags that were once tapestries on the walls and a 5' high stone platform in the center with stairs leading up one side of it. Atop this platform was a cage that appeared to be made from silver bars and -- inside the cage, was a creature almost as strange as Gorlock. It had a body shaped like a large, headless gorilla, but it had no skin or surface. It seemed more like a latticework statue, except that it moved fluidly like a living thing. It was all hollow inside and, as it swung its arm or paced its cage, it produced the loud noise they had been pursuing.
To the north was a 10' wide hallway heading out of this room.

The caballist stops and tries to clear his head. He then says " what in gods name is that?" He then says " is the bomb really this far down. This would be a long carry to move it out."

It had indeed. So the questions before the Heroes were -- if the bomb was not down this way, was the bomb still here at all? And what to do with this seemingly alien creature in the cage?

Looking over at Gorlock, CA said, "Do you think you can talk to it?" gesturing to the strange creature.

"It's safe in that cage," The Leading Man said. "That bomb needs to be found."
