All true-but the old copy isn't in print anymore. I think that a 'Dual-release' like that would be fantastic. 567

Instead of dual-offering a first and second edition of Superheroes 2044, I'd rather have the first edition with a new supplement that explained how to play the first edition.

Oh dear...is it even less comprehensible than the OD&D Whitebox? We've been arguing Rules interpretations on those rules for what, 40+ years now? Sounds like I didn't miss that much, even though it supposedly influenced several other Supers games later on... 255

My first superhero game was the original Villains and Vigilante rpg, the one with the origin types. I played that until my gaming group discovered Champions and ended playing that exclusively. Aside from Champions the only other supers game was the early Classic Marvel that we tried but found it to be too simplistic and turned our nose up at it. For a long time Champions was the only game I played. I tried White Wolf's Aberrant once or twice but didn't really like the storyteller system. Then my friend Alec brought over a game called BASH! I absolutely loved this game and have been running a BASH/Champions universe game for some time. At this time however I have stood my ground and decided not GM a superhero game and instead just be player. I don't really care what the system is just that I want to play a hero not the villain.

If Rons gets us his Hero soon, you might still get your wish!
