I hate when stuff like that happens! There used to be a nice shopping mall behind my high school in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. But, it got turned into an annoying series of stores that aren't connected anymore and aren't very good. Seems like this goes on everywhere...

Stratford Square was a beautiful mall for most of its history. It also has extra-relevant history here because for a short time, when an entire wing of the mall was largely abandoned, that I was running a B/X D&D campaign on the tables in the mall and Hour-Man was playing in it.

Sorry but do you have a character for Gabby? I never rolled one as he was an SCM. Other than the gun, I'm not sure what he has or what abilities he has other than the back story we made for him. But, if there's nothing more to go on though, I'll make my best move for him.

Hmm...to be fair, I've been treating Gabby as a generic 1st-level fighter, but perhaps that's not fair to Gabby. I'll give it some thought and post some stats for Gabby tomorrow morning.

That's fair enough. If you know (maybe only Gabby does), is he carrying anything else other than said gun? I imagine he is wearing a suit.

I may or may not add this to the Hero Tracker thread later. For now...
Gabby, Human Fighter Align L (N tendencies) STR 14 INT 8 WIS 9 CON 11 DEX 9 CHA 11 HP 8 AC 7 Move 12 Level 2 Items: Bulletproof vest, brass knuckles, semi-automatic pistol, brown suit, bowler hat, cigar case, lighter, wallet of 10 $1 bills
I'm going to give you the gun, but Gabby almost always fought with his fists in the comic books.

Sessions 9-11 XP Awards
It would have been a real good idea if I'd been keeping track of all hoodlums defeated, right?
I'm going to guess at: 18 cowardly hoodlums = 900 (300 each) 1 ultra-mad scientist = 400 (166 each) 1 giant centipede = 100 (33 each) 1 troll (Hour-Man and Spectre only) = 700 (350 each)
I will update this post as I read through and find other examples. Like did you manage to defeat any fake vampires before running away?
Also, "rescuing" Walter was a good deed worth 100 xp to both of you. You temporarily recruited 2 hoodlums to your side, which is going to be an extra 100 xp each. And I'm giving Cap 200 xp for bringing Gabby into the story.
Pretty soon we will get to your reward offer and if you accept that, expect a good chunk of XP... Reward Money: $5,000 = 2,500 xp each Hypno-Glasses trophy item: 1,000 xp
Hour-Man: 4,449 xp - maxes out at 4,999 xp and is one xp shy of 3rd level! Captain Hawkman: 3,299 xp - now 5,306/5,305 in each class, making him a level 3 fighter/level 3 aviator!

See the updated XP post above, plus the new thread "Between Sessions 11 and 12"!
What a great time to try recruiting new players again...

Sounds great! That's much better than I expected for both of us. But I guess the adventure has been going awhile. Since I advanced a little, a level 3 Aviator can communicate in morse code, and get a new 2nd level stunt. Could I add the stunt, "Jumps from plane to plane"? Since it is described as useful to all moving vehicles, I assume it could also be useful jumping from car to car in a car chase...

I'm certainly willing to be flexible when it comes to those stunts, like how I allowed you to land the autogyro on the roof with Deadstick.
