>also you did take the box of drugs from Ramirez and it is in the Web's car, in the compartment of Charley's bike, or with Agent Echo
So we better not lose this fight or the cops will search us and think we're the drug dealers!

>bodyguard one: 3, charley 15, charley avoids being grabbed and almost reverses the grab
In a straight one-on-one fight, Arrowhead would not only have reversed with those rolls, but would have slammed his opponent to the floor. I'm guessing our Editor assigned enormous penalties to the roll, given that he's outnumbered three-to-one.
But Web and Echo are on our way now!

>The web then after activating his signature move attacks the dining room tong and hits. He causes max damage three points (not seeing brass knuckles)
That's right, the Web is a bare knuckle brawler! Just remember that, if my opponent also chooses to go unarmed, we get a second chance to hit each turn.

A vote: eventually a hero might get a stat to 18. In the recent Trophy case, our editor Scott came up with a rule for exceptional scores over 18. this new rule will allow the hero to go over 18 and this will give the hero new additional abilities. as an example hero Y has a dexterity of 18 and then he levels. With this new rule, the hero would roll 2d6 and add that number to the stat. So a 7 would be 18/07. Also the hero would then get new extra bonuses. So do we want to try this out as a playtest?

Now that The Web is done at the school, I realize we may not have thought to make plans as to when and how to meet up again afterward.
Can Arrowhead and Echo move closer to the midnight store heist, while The Web checks out the addresses on his own?

that is a thought although there is time for the WEB to rendezvous with Arrowhead and Agent echo. Talk to each other and let me know which is the plan

option one: The Web looks up the teachers addresses and chase down addresses for the evening and the other two heroes stake out SAks to see if the villain strike
Option two: The web drives to Saks department store to meet up with the other two heroes and all three heroes wait. To get to the store would take the web about 30 minutes. The store closes at 9 pm.

In general - it would be helpful for The Web to check out the address before the redevue.
Completely Meta-thinking now... If checking out the address would lead to a 'boss' or extended encounter then I'd obviously 'vote' to all get back together first. If the address might be a quick helpful encounter/clue then I'm happy to just watch from the sidelines while The Web runs through it.

Let's totally meta-think this, because I don't want to bog down the story with too much separation. But --
The Web has 4 1/2 hours to midnight, and not that many addresses to check (he collected a lot, but very few teachers are on his suspicious list).
Ideally, The Web would find evidence in the house of bomb-making equipment, and some clue as to where the bomber is hiding out until midnight. I don't think the bomber will be, or should be, at home because home should be well out of range for 1940's-level remote control devices.
Or, the bomber is at home and we can wrap this up well before midnight. If that's the case, then clue me in so The Web can gather everyone else.

Yes the remote control range would be difficult in the 1940's even with your 1st edition scientist class. I will tell you the bomber is not at a home address. You can still search for clues and other evidence if the Web wishes. Also bear in mind that to find the addresses will need a map and some time for the Web to search. Plus unless the Web is breaking and entering I would also need a plan of action as well.
As the other heroes have four hours it is possible for all three of you to go to the addresses and make it back to the store

If it's allowed, and A-head and the Agent have fully cased the store (with the janitor-near-the-jewels & manikin-in-the-furs plan for disguises), then we should all get back together. I would like a response to my inquiry about the toy-maker before making a final decision. If he's a suspect in anyway we should tail him (when on a break?) and see if he's up to shenanigans at the store. But if that's doesn't pan out in 30 minutes or so of observation then my preference would be to get together. At the very least it insures the 3 of us are at the store at the same time.

echo check my response to your toymaker in the last post unless you had further questions?

here is the answer to your toymaker question, please respond in the posting above if you are tailing or waiting for him to finish, I will also add more for this story,
(Agent passes by the table and notices the old man does an exceptional job at crafting toys. The work is exceptional and the dolls seem almost lifelike for the 1940's. You also see on the toy shelf a couple of clockwork airplanes and some wooden soldiers in their packaging. The toymaker is an older man probably in his 50's with white hair and kindly blue eyes. As he his working he is telling stories of his homeland about windmills and fresh made European chocolate and he does has a European accent. His origin suggest Holland or Switzerland. )

>He decides to stop at one of these new "Drive-by-restaurants"called "McDonald's" and had dinner I had to look that up. So close! I would not have believed it, but the very first "McDonalds" was called the Airdrome and it did first open in Los Angeles County! Sadly, in 1940, it moved to San Bernandino, well out of range for a quick stop to eat when John was already in Los Angeles, heading west. It's a roughly 37-minute drive to Sak's Fifth Avenue, west through the Fashion District and Mid City, then north past the neighborhoods of Cheviot Hills, Beverly Wood, and past the Tom Mix Ranch (that will later become the 20th Century Fox backlot and later still the Century City neighborhood) to get to Beverly Hills. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_McDonald%27s www.google.com/maps/dir/Theodore+Roosevelt+High+School,+South+Mathews+Street,+Los+Angeles,+CA/Saks+Fifth+Avenue,+Wilshire+Boulevard,+Beverly+Hills,+CA/@34.0614466,-118.3416841,13z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x80c2c6016196f201:0xf9d12bc83a7ce40e!2m2!1d-118.2110747!2d34.038338!1m5!1m1!1s0x80c2bbf831a02081:0xb198d2c66da87c31!2m2!1d-118.403963!2d34.066765!3e0?hl=en en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Century_City,_Los_Angeles
