Arrowhead and Agent Echo would not recognize The Web out of costume, or his car, but John recognized Arrowhead out of costume and he recognized the motorcycle.
He pulled up alongside them, rolled down his window, and said, "The web is tightening. You two might want to hop in and circle the block with me."

"Let's go!" Charlie says to Echo as he jumps into the Web's car.

Leo leaps into the back, and throws up everything they learned in the store. "What's the plan!"

John Raymond started driving around the block. "Since time is growing short, I'm going to have to take you both into my confidence about my identity," he began. "Searching the school produced a short list of five suspects. Chief among them is Bruno Schneider, who checks every box on our profile -- chemistry and physics, popular with the students, but fired over some secret disciplinary matter. But we would also be unwise to discount Alan Schwartz, who is a German immigrant and would have the accent we heard being disguised. And then there's Steven Smiley, who had a discipline file, might hold some grudges, and has a really suspiciously made-up-sounding last name.
"I can start searching their houses myself, or we could divide them between two or three of us and hit them faster. But I also like the idea of leaving at least one of us behind to guard the department store. So I came to get your thoughts, gentlemen."

"Did their files have photos in them, or did you manage to grab a yearbook?" Charlie said, chin in hand. The big man looked uncomfortable being this deep in thought instead of knuckle deep in a hood.
"There was a very suspicious character in the toy department. If you have photos we might be able to match him."

"I didn't think to take a yearbook, blast it!" John said with rueful self-admonishment.
((Were there pictures in the files? I don't know if school personnel files include pictures. I know library personnel files don't!))

The professor remembers seeing a couple of yearbooks on the shelf of the senior administrative bookshelf as well as a current yearbook in the teachers lounge.
(rolling save vs plot for photos in file, and ouch) there were no photos in the files. Only the address, phone number for emergency contact, the date of birth, hire date, references, good marks and bad marks.

"Three of us and three suspects. Based on the addresses we should have enough time to check each of them out, get back here and get in place before the robbery? If there's even a risk of missing it I say we just focus on the store, and follow-up with these guys later."

"Unless the Webb has a compelling reason to check out the three right now, I say we stay at Saks. That dude in the toy section gives me a bad feeling."

"Well...yeah..." The Web said, momentarily flummoxed, "I thought the idea was to catch the crook, and here we have a chance to find out who he is and catch him early. Or...I guess we can wait hiding in a store for four hours, and play his game by his rules when he shows up..."

"If we can get to the two closest ones and back here in 90 minutes, we can leave one of us here to keep an eye on the place. How about Bruno Scheider and Alan Schwartz? What do you say A-head? You want to hold down the fort while we run out for a quick recon?"

"Sounds good to me guys," Charlie shrugged. "Check those teachers out as quick as you can. Anything goes down here, I start swinging." A big smile came across Charlie's mug. "I promise to not burn the joint down before you all get back."

"Great!" The Web said. "Arrow, I'll let you out here. Good luck in there; we'll be back for you as soon as we can. Echo, do you have a preference? Alan or Bruno?"

"If I spot you in costume, I'll pick you up off the side of the road after," The Web said, half-jokingly.
((Now it's up to Darren to tell us which lives closer to Beverly Hills, Alan or Bruno.))
